What to expect from our sessions

The first therapy session is an opportunity to share your concerns, for your therapist to guide that inquiry, and to provide a general framework for what’s to come. Spending time face to face with your therapist also allows you to decide if the connection is genuine and helpful in your journey ahead.

Subsequent counselling and therapy sessions will cover our assessment of what you've shared, followed by a more detailed therapeutic roadmap and action plan. As therapy progresses, there will also be the introduction of key emotional skills and psychoeducation tools. Our therapists take feedback regularly to ensure that sessions are moving in the right direction as you consolidate insight and learnings, moving closer towards what is important.
